The National Committees of Finland and Sweden of the International Flame Research Foundation (IFRF) organized the Flame Days with a Gasification Workshop on the 17th and 18th of April 2013 in Jyväskylä, Finland.

The "Poltto ja palaminen" thesis award was given to MSc Christoffer Sevonius from Åbo Akademi for his thesis "Konstruktion av en fluidbäddreaktor i laboratorieskala - de första resultaten av agglomereringsförsök".
