VIII Liekkipäivä 2016

The Finnish National Committee of the IFRF (International Flame Research Foundation) organizes the event "Liekkipäivä" on the 4th of February, 2016, in the Hotel Seurahuone in Lahti.

The event is a special forum for the combustion technology field in Finland, and there projects and research from the area of combustion can be presented either in Finnish or in English.

The prizes for the best thesis in the field of combustion (years 2014 and 2015) will be awarded in "Liekkipäivä".

Registration to the event has ended, but it is still possible to ask for registration possibilities from the secretary (contact details in the invitation).

Additionally, projects and research from the area of combustion are presented. The abstracts of these presentations are available here.

On the next day, there is a possibility to visit the renewable energy research center Energon at around 9 to 11 o'clock. Those interested in the excursion are requested to express their interest when registering.
